BMW Manufacturing is the global center of competence for BMW X models and assembles the BMW X3, X5, X6, X7, and XM Sports Activity Vehicles and Coupes and their variants. This South Carolina factory is where state of the art assembly happens, blending innovative engineering and premium quality.
All public plant tours are currently suspended between January 4 through the summer of 2026. However, the Zentrum remains open. Zentrum Visitors Center hours of operation are Monday – Friday 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. There is no charge to enter, and the museum is self-guided.
The BMW Performance Driving School is excited to provide the opportunity to drive a wide variety of vehicles on our closed track. During your event you will get to participate in three driving experiences where you will feel the vehicle dynamics, the power of the engine and the true performance of our BMWs. A professional BMW instructor will guide you through each exercise. You will drive the X vehicles on our Off Road Course going through our deep water crossing, climbing our extreme hills and navigating Spiral Mountain. Our Performance Track exercise will get your adrenaline flowing as you take corners and straight-a-ways in several BMWs. You will see side by side how they handle the road. And the program would not be complete without the thrill of a lifetime, a Hot Lap with one of our Pro instructors! Upon arriving Performance Center, all registered participants must visit the reception counter to check in.
